I just wanted to send out a heartfelt thank you to each and every one of you. I have had the pleasure of getting to know you not only as customers, but also as friends.

Our time at Craft Garden is coming to an end, but with every ending comes a new beginning. We are happy to let you know, that we will continue to teach creative classes, happy, scrappy crops, and we are hosting a HUGE National Scrapbook Day celebration!!

Craft Garden is closing…

We regret to inform you that as of February 27^th Craft Garden will be closing its doors. Thank you for your continued patronage through the past years.

Everything in the store is 20% off as of right now. If you have gift certificates and full punch cards please bring them in and redeem them.

The fixtures and paper trays are for sale, if you are interested in any of them, contact Liza at lmccafferty@matsu-respite.com

Christmas Advent Box

We are so excited to announce that the Craft Garden finally has the accucut machine! We have all been like little kids on Christmas morning playing with our new toy. All of the designers have come up with adorable projects to share with you at our upcoming party!

Our Accucut release party will be on Saturday, October 24th from 1pm to 5 pm.

We will have project samples for inspiration.

Can you smell it? Fall is on its way!

I love fall in Alaska!

The leaves are just beginning to change color but its not TOO cold yet. School is back in session and of course, the Alaska State Fair started yesterday!

With the changing of the season in mind, I decided that it was time to change up the blog a little too. I was so inspired by some of our new fall papers, I had to put those colors on the blog! Also, be sure to check out our Garden Girl blogs, some of them are new and/or updated!

Jacqueline Briggs is one of our very talented designers, she is always going a hundred miles an hour, is full of energy, is always smiling, and about to explode with wonderful ideas.

Well this afternoon her and a friend went into Anchorage, and scored some amazing deals at Michaels & JoAnn's. She stopped by the store on her way home, (and was full of it, as she always is) to share her beautiful treasures with me.

As she is leaving, we are both talking at once, and she says to me "I hope the bluebird of happiness poops on your head too"!

I laughed and laughed, that was the funniest, most random expression I have ever heard.

Well if that is what makes her so happy, that little bluebird is welcome around the store anytime!

This is a great way to get rid of your left-over or un-used scrapbook tools, paper, stickers, embellishments, rubber stamps, inks, etc. You’re welcome to be a ‘seller’ and/or a ‘buyer’ at our garage sale.

Please make sure all merchandise is in good shape and that all inks, stamps and tools are not dried out and are in good working order. The more enticing your product looks, the better it will sell!

Please read the following carefully.

Here’s the deal…

Seller must call in or stop by the store by June 20th to register and get a seller’s code number. There is a $10 entry fee to have space in the sidewalk sale. Sorry, no dealers’ or consultants’ (such as Creative Memories, Stampin’ Up or Close to My Heart” new products will be accepted.

All items must be packaged and ready-to-sell. Please, no loose items such as paper, stickers, embellishments, etc. Punches and tools need not be packaged unless they have small or loose parts/pieces.

If desired, seller may put short content description on package.

All merchandise (packaged or not) MUST have seller’s code number and price marked on a sticker that can be removed from outside of package. Seller sets their own prices.

The Craft Garden will collect and keep track of all sales and the seller will be paid in the form of 50% cash and 50% gift certificate equal to the amount of their merchandise that sold during the garage sale. Gift Certificates must be used by September 30, 2009.

Sidewalk sale items must be dropped off at the Craft Garden between June 20^th & 27^th.

****The sidewalk sale at Craft Garden will be held 11am-6pm July 10^th and 11^th. (In an event that the weather does not permit us to be outside, the sidewalk sale will be moved indoors, into the crop room at Craft Garden”

Seller must pick up their un-sold product and payment from the Craft Garden between July 14^th and July 18^th (unless other arrangements have been made in advance).
